For the past 10 days..

On the 25th of March, I had a neat surprised when Nizam came back home from work with this bunch of flowers in his hands for me...wasn't it really sweet of him?...Thank You Sayang! Kish kish kish!!!

It has been a while now since I last wrote anything, nothing much had happened and i just don't know where to start! With Sakura blooming, Spring is officially here and the weather is just lovely! Last weekend, Nizam took us for a picnic in Okazaki. They had Okazaki Spring Festival that time that after our lunch picnic, we had a stroll along the Okazaki River while appreciating the Sakura blooms. We walked to the Okazaki Castle for a few pictures and after that, we spent the rest of the day shopping in Okazaki Jusco. This is Nizam at the Okazaki Spring Festival... Apart from occasional gust of strong wind, the temperature has been nice and cooling, and the sun is nice and sunny. Just great for a stroll...,and that's what we've been doing a lot lately...
Umair and I with our new friends...two other ICT wives and their kids. It's either to the park, to K's, Meglia, Shimamura or the recycle shop down the road...and we love to hang out at the bakery also...,which is just next to Meglia, our local grocery store. Very nice and relaxing when our husbands had to break their bones working! This is Umair in his stroller around the neighbourhood...
Yesterday, Umair and I had started with our Nihon-Go class. It started at 10a.m, but we went early just in-case we'd get lost looking for the class! hahahahaha! Lucky though we managed to get there without getting lost and we were the earliest students to arrived!
This is Umair in the class yesterday...they had rolled out the carpet for the kids to play and the mothers get to study! If they want, the kids could also join us, Umair was sitting on my lap almost 3/4 of the session and we studied together reading Nihon-go flashcards and parroting the teacher! haahahhahaha! I really felt like a kindy kid again!
Umair was very observent though. Am a bit worried if his first word would be Japanese and I wouldn't understand! That would be funny!
Back home in Malaysia, we just found out that Che Ning (my mum's sister just before her) had undergone mastectomy...,an operation to remove her breast. Initially, she was diagnosed with breast cancer...Her family has instructed not to go and visit her just yet though, maybe she do need the much needed rest, or maybe she just need time to condition her mind to get used to the new situation...I don't know....and Tok Wan, she is not feeling really well too. Apparently, at one time last week, she was sneezing and had a muscle stretched. That got her into a slip disc. For a 78 year old woman like her, that is quite something to suffer from!
I could still remember how it feels like to suffer from a back ache-indescribable! At my age, I thought that I couldn't handle the pain, let alone my grandmother okay! I just hope she'll be hanging tough as she had always been...
But I do hope to see them when we go back to Malaysia for the home leave though- this coming 12th of April...
