Jibuzaka Highlands & Ski Spot

Last Friday, Nizam took off from work and brought us jalan-jalan to Jib Highlands for a night which is 80km away from Toyota Shi. We've been planning for this for the last 2months actually. There is a ski resort on the mountain, and next to it, there is a log cabin resort owned by Toyota. ..so we get to stay there at a special rate-Thank you Daddy! Right after Subuh prayers, I fried some mee hoon goreng to be taken along...both for breakfast and lunch. On the previous night, I had already prepared all the stuff that needed to be brought. I had also cooked some sambal nasi lemak and fried keropok. We were meant to meet up with Azizan's family somewhere in town, and before that we had to pick up Zul at Oasis...konon nak cepat, jadi lambat jugak...that we ended up departing at 9 o'clock in the morning. (Initially the plan was to leave at 8a.m). When we got to Toyota Shi, Azizan and family was already waiting for us at Starbucks. After setting in the phone number in the navigator, we headed to Jibuzaka. Along the way to Jib... When we got there, first thing we did was off-course, makan-makan. Kak Khadijah, Azizan's wife had prepared some sardine sandwiches and home made doughnuts....sedapnyerrr makan sandwiches sebab dah lama tak makan! Other menu was my mee hoon goreng and keropok, and Zul was kind enough to sponsor some finger licking good yummylicious self made fried chicken...sedaaaaappppppppp!!! Then after that, the guys went snowboarding n skiing, and Umair nak tidur....so i ended up 'skiing' in the restaurant upstairs, with umair sleeping on the table. Anyway, I got to see Nizam from the glass screen, just looking at him having fun pun jadi lah....terkial-kial trying to control the snowboard! Then, when both Zul and Azizan left him alone to go on the chairlift (Nizam was just at the bunny hill), I saw him stranded there alone...lama jugak he was sitting alone in the snow tu, like around 20 minutes ada...rupa-rupanyer I found out later that he didn't know how to open up the boots! hahahahhaha! When Umair woke up, we went to accompany daddy and play rolling on the snow.

At around 4 o'clock in the evening, we headed next door to check in to our log cabin. This is the reception house..
Mula-mula sampai tu, daddy's car got stuck in the snow sebab daddy malas nak pakaikan the tire chain...,sekali tengok, terus tak leh climb up, so kene pakaikan jugak laa.
When we got to our cabin, we were soooooo excited sangat-sangat!!! The house was BEAUTIFULLLL!!!...well, atleast the interior is!
We immediately fell in love with the place and was beginning to feel sorry that we were only staying for one night...macam tak puas jer...dah ler the next morning, we had to check out at 10a.m! We asked for a late check out pun tak dapat!
After a good rest, shower and solat, we headed to Azizan's place for dinner. Nie tengah jalan to Azizan's place, sempat lagi berposing!

....sedap sangat-sangat, but it was too bad that my tummy was already full from left over mee hoon goreng that i had for tea earlier on....macam menyesal plak makan mee hoon tu, but at the time, I was really starving!
Back in our cabin, we watched tv for awhile with Zul before retiring to bed.
Next morning, i cooked nasi lemak (I brought some rice inside the rice cooker, shoga=ginger and coconut milk powder as well). Reheat the sambal that I had cooked at home, boiled eggs, took out the fried anchovies and ground-nuts from the container, and voila! My nasi lemak is ready! punyerlaa bangga nie, because this is my second time masak nasi lemak and it turned out well! The one thing that was missing was the cucumber...betul-betul terlupa to get some! This is us having breakfast...nasi Lemak with Zul's special fried chicken...Anyway, everything was great, and after checking out of the resort at 10.30am, we headed to Asahi highlands for lunch....The road was really spiral, that suddenly, sitting at the back with umair, I was vomitting! I was never like this before! I really don't know what got into me! Initially i felt like i was bloating, and that I was having some acidic reflux..,after that, when I put some minyak panas, the wind started to come out, and i was burping...then whooosh came out the muntah!!! Eeiii, my nasi lemak that I had for breakfast went down the drain...-sigh!-
